CHAOS ET SEXUAL – ovna – CD

From Ov to Ovna, only one year of hard work has gone for instrumental parisian « 2 guitars + drum machine » trio Chaos E.T. Sexual, but however the evolution is quite impressive. Keeping their original indus/hip-hop/doom roots inspired by Godflesh,Dälek, Necro Deathmort, or Techno Animal, these nice guys allow now themselves quite everything from synths to real percussions, and voices. The result is therefore much more varied and the sonic mass, much more compact than ever, is at the same time heavy, organic, and dreamlike, building athmospheres close to those from bands such as Year Of No Light, Terra Tenebrosa, or Ez3kiel. Last but not least, Ovna has been mastered by James Plotkin (Ex-Khanate, has worked for Scorn, ISIS, Tim Hecker, ..) for a result that reaches easily band’s ambitions.
